As a new author, one of the things I am most looking forward to is sharing my book (and more importantly the mindfulness techniques incorporated in it) with children, teachers, and parents. I’d love to schedule school visits, visits to Boys and Girls Clubs, and events for families at yoga studios.
A typical class visit would be 30 minutes for Pre-K 4 through Second Grade. A full-day visit would include four class visits.
One of my greatest privileges and pleasures is facilitating Yoga Nidra. I am trained as an advanced level facilitator in the Amrit Method (I AM) of Yoga Nidra (sometimes called “the deep one”). Participants lay on their backs and simply follow the instructions and typically experience deep relaxation and feelings of well-being. It can be especially useful for first responders, people in recovery, people with chronic pain, and people under stress.
